Don’t think that all of the next-generation surprises are out of the bag quite yet. This weekend, Microsoft will be making a trip to Seattle for PAX Prime, and while we’ll likely see a great deal of recycled media from the previously announced software lineup, a few unannounced titles will make their debuts at the Xbox One’s booth.
This comes from Major Nelson’s blog, which was recently updated to inform both PAX Prime attendees and those gathering news from the convention while sitting at home of what Microsoft will be presenting. The major first and third-party games are there, including Ryse: Son of Rome, Killer Instinct, Battlefield 4, and Forza 5, but there’s still something in store that we haven’t heard about yet.
"Of course there will be other surprises at the booth, including games that I'm not at liberty to divulge…yet,” the post reads.
Microsoft had a quiet Gamescom, so it’s possible that a few announcements were saved for the thousands of people flooding the Washington State Convention Center this weekend. We don’t yet know an exact date for the Xbox One, and while many different territories won’t see the hardware until 2014, it wouldn’t be a bad idea for the company to commit to an actual day in November for the rest of the world.
