Capcom is gearing up for the big release of Resident Evil 2 all over again. Years after the game’s initial launch, the development team has crafted up a remake that is suitable for today’s latest platforms. This is a game that fans have been asking about for a while now and finally, we’re days away before gamers are able to get their hands on a copy. But if you’re looking to still get a bit more information or gameplay of the title then you’re in luck. A leak has made its way online that showcases the first storyline bit of Claire.
If you haven’t already enjoyed the demo, Capcom released a timed demo for Resident Evil 2 which puts you into the shoes of Leon as he explores a portion of the Raccoon Police station. At the end of this demo, we learn that Claire Redfield has made it but trapped in a section which Leon needs to unlock. We, unfortunately, didn’t get a demo of Claire but a leaked video uploaded from Mad Geek on YouTube showcases the first bit of gameplay. This footage also shows some slight differences from the original Resident Evil 2 video game narrative.
While for the most part, everything is the same, there are some setting changes and gameplay alterations such as Claire having a weapon right away and changing up where she meets up with Leon. Again, these changes are small but it still matches up with the narrative story structure that was present in the first video game release. For those who want to get their hands on a copy of the game then you only have to wait a few more days. Resident Evil 2 will release on January 25, 2019, for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One platforms.
