The Roman era wasn't an age of just conquest alone. It was a golden age—one of trade and prosperity, for the most part. Even as empires rose and fell, the ancient world was full of prosperity as trade routes flourished, bringing all manner of spices and wares from the east to the west, and vice versa.
The Creative Assembly has published a new picture today depicting the trade routes in Total War: Rome 2's vastly expanded, and detailed campaign map.
