The Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer reveal that occurred yesterday generated a significant amount of buzz. The tried-and-true experience is finally added destroyable pieces of the environment, female soldiers, and a slew of other tweaks that could lead to a whole new gameplay experience. However, Ghosts isn’t the only AAA shooter launching this fall, and DICE wants to make sure that point is clear. Today, a new series of short videos titled, “Only in Battlefield 4” has been released that shows why there’s no other game on the market quite like Battlefield.
These are “real gamers” talking about the “real gameplay” they’ve experience in this massive FPS. Jumping from buildings to take highly covered tactical locations, swimming through the debris of a fallen building, and blowing up streets full of tanks with a rocket launcher are just a few of the moments mentioned, and while much is being done to the latest Call of Duty game, it’s pretty difficult to match the harrowing events discussed here. Timing is everything, and with both talk of Call of Duty: Ghosts and Grand Theft Auto 5 multiplayer filling the airwaves, this might just be the perfect time to show a bit more of Battlefield 4.
If you’re looking for a few meatier chunks of gameplay that showcase the online features, other videos were released earlier this month in high quality. The game is shaping up to be one of the most visually impressive next-gen titles out there, and thankfully, you won’t have to wait long for its Oct. 29 release.
