We’re still a few months away from NBA 2K14’s current-generation launch, but a list of Achievements has appeared that details a few features that haven’t been discussed up to this point. Although the majority of what’s listed is the same as what we saw last year and nothing can be confirmed at this time, both the mention of the Dunk Contest and, more importantly, Crew can be spotted here.
If you remember, Crew was an NBA feature where people were able to team up with their friends and establish a sort of posse using any player of their choosing. After getting a feel for the dynamic of the team, online games could be played to determine who had the best Crew in the NBA 2K world. People had complaints with the servers in the past, but since it has been absent, it’s likely that the developers have put enough work into the overall package to make it more appealing. If you’re wondering, it’s the Achievement “It's Got to be the Crews” that’s giving all of this away.
The full list can be found at exophase, and once again, don’t take these as official quite yet. What we do know is that there are plenty of features that fans want to see included, and hopefully this is a sign that the developers are listening.
