If I told you games like Disney Magic Castle: My Happy Life and Friend Collection would continue to sit comfortably on top of Japanese sales charts, how would you react? The 3DS just cannot be unseated in terms of software and hardware sales, as core titles continue to give way to more casual games. Killer Is Dead has completely dropped off the top 20 and Yakuza 1 and 2 HD did not even make a blip.
Among the new games hitting the charts this week are One Piece: Romance Dawn – Bouken no Yoake a turn based RPG originally released on the PSP just last year, Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-Kun SP: Rantou Kyousoukyoku, the latest installment of the Kunio-Kun series adding the Super Dodgeball Brawlers and changing the look again to 2D sprites in 3D worlds, and Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger: Game de Kaburincho!!, based on the 37th Super Sentai series. All three came for the 3DS. A Resident Evil 6 special edition for PS3 also entered the charts.
