The Resident Evil franchise is iconic in itself as being one of the more influential survival horror series that got its start back in the original PlayStation days and is still going strong today. Over the years we’ve seen countless video game titles released from the franchise and today we’re finding out that a few select titles will soon find their way on the Nintendo Switch platform. If you’re looking to enjoy some of the more mainstream video games from the franchise on-the-go, you’ll soon have the chance in 2019.

Capcom took to Twitter and announced that they are bringing out three Resident Evil video game titles on the Nintendo Switch in 2019. The list includes Resident Evil, likely the latest remastered edition, Resident Evil 0 and lastly, Resident Evil 4. What we don’t know yet as to if we’ll see the latest upcoming Resident Evil title, Resident Evil 2, which is a remastered edition, on the Nintendo Switch in 2019.

Unfortunately, there’s no further information to share other than that the tree video game titles will be released sometime in 2019 with more information soon to follow. In other news, Resident Evil 2 is the latest upcoming remastered edition which will be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and finally the PC platform next year, January 25, 2019.

Perhaps this batch is just the first of several that will be coming to the Nintendo Switch, but for now, we’ll have to wait for the official word from Capcom.
