One of the biggest announcements to have come from Nintendo’s March 2018 Direct was official word of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will see the delivery of a Super Smash Bros video game title on the Nintendo Switch. The latest upcoming installment to Super Smash Bros. will feature a massive roster of fighters. We’ve been seeing teases and Nintendo Directors for this upcoming game set to release within the holiday season of this year though the hype may be based around the number of fighters you’ll be able to select from.
As mentioned, there is a massive selection of characters to choose from with newcomers such as Metroid’s Ridley, Splatoon Inklings, Castlevania’s Simon Belmont and Donkey Kong’s rival King K. Rool. That doesn’t mean that Nintendo is done with ending characters as they still have plenty of new characters to be revealed, but it looks like most of those characters have been spoiled by a supposed leak.
We can’t confirm that this leak is in fact not a hoax but if it does include a few characters that were not present in the past announcements. The leak is an artwork banner that showcases the various characters which are supposedly done by an employee of a French print manufacturer. Included with the various other characters that have already been announced are Shadow the Hedgehog, Banjo-Kazooie, Golden Sun’s Isaac, Street Fighter’s Ken, Mach Rider, Chorus Kids, and lastly, Geno.
With Super Smash Bros. Ultimate not releasing until December 7, 2018, we expect Nintendo to make some official announcements and reveals regarding the rest of the cast in the coming month.
