Digital Mind Software has announced the development of Men of War: Squad Assault 2. The game, which is due for release later this year, is a real-time strategy game that puts players in control of a squad of soldiers instead of a whole army.
The game will feature single and multiplayer modes made up of skirmishes that can be played solo or cooperatively. Much like the first game, there won’t be a narrative to the singleplayer and players will simply be tasked to go through the missions on their own terms.
Here's what's in store:
New singleplayer skirmishes.
Eight player co-op and multiplayer 8v8 game mode.
New multiplayer maps.
Five factions and various battlefields in Europe, Eastern Europe, Northern Africa and the Pacific.
Improved engine graphics and sound.
New Steam functionalities such as Steam Cloud, Workshop and multiplayer match-making.
More as information surfaces.
