4J Studios, the developers tasked with porting Minecraft to the Xbox 360, answered a number of questions on their Twitter account regarding the game's use of texture packs, which are set to be implemented into the upcoming Title Update 12 (TU12) patch. The TU12 update is due for release within a few short weeks, so its developers are drumming up some hype for its release by answering fan questions about its implementation.
The studio revealed that in addition to the already confirmed texture packs, which allow the game to look completely different from its vanilla look, the TU12 update will bring with it what the studio is calling "mash-up packs". Here's what that is:

In short, it's a full scale total conversion mod that changes everything about the game. We can't wait to see it in action.
