This was one of those games I regret not buying. Around the time it was coming out, I had heard the comment from a few people and sites that it had some gameplay like The Legend of Zelda. Originally I thought to myself that no game could get close to the quality of the Zelda franchise. So as an avid Zelda fan-boy (now more open minded), I decided not to get it. Months out from its release, I found out (after getting curious about the game again) that it actually was an excellent game and that those Zelda comments were mostly true. So, after everything I had just found out about it, I made a promise to myself that I would buy it once I had some extra money.
Fast forward about 3 years later, I find myself in an EB Games store looking at a used Gamecube version of Beyond Good and Evil in excellent condition. What did I do? I didn't get it. Having just bought an Xbox 360 and a Nintendo Wii, I left all of the games I wanted to buy from the early years of the Gamecube behind. Every time, however, I walked into a Gamestop (just converted from an EB Games store) I picked it up, looked at it, but never once did I actually end up buying it.
At one point, I decided to finally get it, no ifs-ands-or-buts about it. Walking into the Gamestop, I looked over to the used Gamecube aisle. Unfortunately, it was not there; then checked online and the prices were just too high (almost like how Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars was very sought after).
So now, I'm glad that I have a chance to play it, but now in a higher resolution. There isn't much more to add to this game, as some people demand every remake to have even more added elements that are unnecessary.

I've heard a lot of good things about Beyond Good & Evil. One of my friends had showered compliments about it and after reading reviews, and especially listening to the great soundtrack, I really wanted to try it out. Unfortunately he moved shortly after, and I never got to play it.
I'm a sucker for adventure games, and was intrigued, trying to find out more about the game, but also avoiding spoilers like the devil.
After having found out the man who created the game was the same who created the Rayman series, which I am a devoted fan of, I pretty much whined day and night after having avoided the PC version which had came out on a local monthly magazine due to my distraction (I know, I'm a bad person)…
That's why I'm entering this and any other giveaway that might pop up for this gem in an attempt to forgive my sin, mend my soul, and finally get to play the great game that everyone else says it is. (Yay for overly dramatic oaths!)
With all that said, good luck to all, and here's hoping luck kicks in and I get one of the coveted 3 copies.

I've been wanting to play this game for a few years now and I've never really got around to buying it, hence why I'm trying to win one here (and really, who doesn't like free stuff?) :p
The only reason I haven't bought it from the marketplace yet is because funds are tight right now.
But I've seen a few reviews and it does look very good. The fact that it was developed by Ubisoft and that it may have influenced key elements in Assassin's creed makes it seem all the more intriguing.
Congratulations to all the winners, who have safely received their download codes via email. Those of you who missed out, we'll be having another giveaway(Yoostar 2) tomorrow.
