The NBA 2K series has grown a following for itself that is unrivaled by most other sports games. As we all expected, a next-generation NBA 2K14 was announced not too long ago, and will feature updated graphics, new player animations and much more. However, fans are still wondering what will happen in terms of the miscellanious. Gamers have wanted there to be more media filling up the "gray" areas of the game, such as the half-time show.
One gamer, ShakeDown2012 on Youtube, has crafted a video describing his wishes for the half-time show. He notes that these wishes include more player interviews and use of the revamped facial expressions for these interviews. It seems like a no-brainer to us. We're sure that with the amount of money that went into getting Lebron James' exact facial expressions, that we'll be seeing a lot more use of these features.
ShakeDown also contributes some ideas as to the pre and post-game shows. He says that while many of the big shows are on ESPN, making them unfit for use because EA already has rights for their games, that 2K Sports and Visual Concepts could use TNT's post-game show.
It will definitely be interesting to see where 2K takes the series with its first next-generation iteration.
