Last week Rockstar released the first gameplay trailer for Grand Theft Auto 5 showing some of the activities players will be able to tackle once the game launches on September 17th.
This includes tennis, purchasing real estate, buying stocks and a whole lot more besides.
Grand Theft Auto 5 will have three new protagonists; Trevor, Franklin and Michael, but what does GTA4's Niko think of the changes? As you can see from the trailer above, he's none too happy about being left out of Los Angeles stand-in Los Santos' vast world. In fact, he's actually depressed by the prospect of being left out of array of activities available in sunny southern California and we see Niko crying on the streets of a rain swept Liberty City before trying, and failing hilariously, to end his misery.
It's all very dramatic but to be fair to Niko, Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima has said the Grand Theft Auto 5 gameplay trailer made him feel somewhat depressed too (though for very different reasons).
The game is set for PS3 and Xbox 360 and is expected to sell 18 million copies in its first year.
How did you react to the trailer? Are you pleased with the changes Rockstar's made?
