Fans of the Red Dead Redemption franchise can rejoice as a new trailer for the upcoming landed online today. With this trailer, Rockstar Games has finally unleashed some long-awaited gameplay footage.
Within the Red Dead Redemption 2 narrative, we know that the game will take place in 1899. The Wild West as we know it is coming to an end with the government on the heels of the last remaining outlaws. Players will be following Arthur Morgan, a member of the Van Der Linde gang, as they flew across the country after a bad robbery attempt.
With the trailer, we know that we’ll slowly learn about each member within the Van Der Linde gang and it seems that the same mechanics from the past installment will be present. Overall, these mechanics however have been enhanced which range from a more finely tuned combat and morale system.
Animals such as horses will vary and may result in being better suited for certain situations. Likewise, you’ll also find a variety of wild hostile animals to hunt and sell pelts to local shops.
Rockstar Games have noted that an upcoming video will showcase missions and other activities which can be enjoyed within the in-game world.
Currently, Red Dead Redemption 2 will be launching on October 26, 2018, for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms. However, while the game is slated to launch in the coming months, Rockstar Games has also stated that they will still be supporting their most popular video game ever to release, Grand Theft Auto V.
