Warrior’s Lair Cancelled for both PS3 and PS Vita

July 3, 2013 by Andrea Castellano

Warrior’s Lair cancelled.

The PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3 titled, Warrior's Lair – previously known as Ruin – has been cancelled.

When speaking with IGN, a Sony representative apologetically said, "Sony Computer Entertainment can confirm that Warrior’s Lair for PS Vita is no longer in development."

The Sony representative did not reveal the reason for cancellation and instead said that, "the line-up of PS Vita first-party and third-party content remains strong with more than 85 titles scheduled to launch for the system by the end of 2013 including Killzone: Mercenary, Tearaway, Doki Doki Universe, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, Flower, The Walking Dead, and more."

Idol Minds first demoed Warrior's Lair during the 2011 E3 Sony press conference as an example of the cross-play technology between the PS Vita and PlayStation 3.

The top down RPG did not appear in any form at the E3 event this year both on stage and on the show floor.
