Steamforged Games is a well-known player within the board game realm. The company has released countless titles into the market which have done well and they are also known to look at releasing board games based on gaming titles.
In the past, Steamforged Games has worked on Dark Souls and a Resident Evil 2 board game though their latest upcoming creation is Horizon Zero Dawn: The Board Game. In a blog post released under the official Steamforged Games website, fans of the franchise learned of the upcoming Kickstarter campaign for this board game.
We’re confident that Steamforged Games will not have any trouble gathering the funds through the Kickstarter campaign as both Dark Souls: The Board Game along with Resident Evil 2: The Board Game achieved well over their pledged goals.
For now, we’ll have to wait until the Kickstarter campaign releases in order to get more details about what we can expect from the game. Within the blog post, we only get two images of potential figure molds but again, it’s uncertain if these are set to be the final design details at the moment.
In the meantime, Steamforged Games currently offers their Dark Souls board game while pledges are waiting for their upcoming release of Resident Evil 2: The Board Game with an expected delivery of sometime in September.
