Ubisoft has established an experimental new connected web experience for Watch_Dogs VG247 reports which is initially available in Paris, Berlin and London.
WeareData intends to "gather and graph the publicly available data that govern people's lives in a single location.
"With WeareData, visitors will discover that much of the hyper-connected world imagined in Watch_Dogs already is a reality, and that everything and everyone is truly connected," reads the site's description. "The amount of and potential uses for public and personal information that is readily available online has never been more relevant, as evidenced by today's headlines.
"WeareData is designed to provide a glimpse into this reality and it give visitors a new perspective on the cities in which they live."
According to the website users should "be prepared for a reality you may not be aware of. Now you can discover more about the data that controls modern cities."
WeareData visitors will be able to access information of the cities listed above as well as the inhabitants of these locations. The site uses 3D mapping which grants access to information on subways, public bicycle station, telecommunications systems including mobile antennas, WiFi spots and advertising networks.
There'll even be information on energy consumption, traffic, traffic lights and CCTV cameras as well as localised unemployment, income and crime statistics.
Users can also gain access to localised social media activities of a city's residents on sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Foresquare.
It's not clear whether WeareData will be extended to other cities but seeing as Watch_Dogs is set in Chicago the Windy City would seem like an obvious choice.
Watch_Dogs is set to be released on PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC on November 19th in North America and on November 22nd in Europe. The game is also being developed for PS4 and Xbox One though a release date for those platforms has not yet been confirmed.
