Endless Space Disharmony DLC out today, Update Brings Fixes and Changes

June 26, 2013 by Andrea Castellano

Endless Space Disharmony DLC introduces a new faction.

Amplitude Studios today released the Disharmony DLC for their strategy game, Endless Space.

The Disharmony DLC will introduce a brand new faction to Endless Space called "The Harmony." With the new faction and DLC, players can instigate a fight involving bombers and fighters in which the player can now organizing using new battle formations.

The introduction of a new targeting system, weapons system and invasion mechanics will also alter the pace of the space combat. The invasion mechanics allows players to send troops or bombs and even start a land invasion.

Although Endless Space will already punish players on its normal difficulties, Amplitude Studios introduce a new "Adaptive Multi-Agent System" to make enemy AI much more unpredictable, therefore even more punishing.

Alongside the DLC, Endless Space will also receive an update fixing known issues such as problems with the Steam overlay when pressing the Shift key and fleets moving on their own when in galaxy view. For a full list of fixes to the base game and additions that come with the Disharmony DLC, you can read an update details here.

You can purchase the Endless Space Disharmony DLC today for $9.99 on Steam.
