Gears of War: Judgment Lost Relics DLC Drops Today

June 18, 2013 by Andrea Castellano

Gears of War: Judgment DLC includes 4 new maps.

The Gears of War: Judgment Lost Relics DLC will include four new maps, weapons and armor skins. Additionally players will receive the Breakthrough mode which selects one team to deliver a flag to a specific location as the opposing team defends with limited resources. The attacking team will operate will a limited amount of lives so survival proves necessary.

The first map returns from Gears of War 3. The fan favorite map, Checkout, will place opposing teams in abandoned store with many of shelves and counters to hide behind. With many places to take cover, players will need to utilize their close-quarters weapons to eliminate the enemy team.

The Lost City map centers on an archaeological site previously used by the ancient Serans as a hydro-powered aqueduct and canal systems. When the locust emerged, people quickly evacuated the city and left everything behind.

The Museum map displays ancient history through many artefacts, exhibits and specimens collected for people of all ages.

The final map, Ward, will release as the only Overrun map of the Lost Relics DLC. This map will place the COG in the courtyards of buildings as they defend against the incoming waves of Locust. Since the COG previously used the area to fight off incoming enemy waves of Locust, the buildings withstood a lot of damage from the explosives.

The Lost Relics DLC will launch today only for Gears of War: Judgment VIP members and June 25th for regulars players.
