It may not have a window-breaking dog to prop it up, but don’t forget that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is still one of the most popular games to play online. The 2012 shooter smashed all types of pre-order and sales records, and the two additional map packs that have been released as part of the Season Pass haven’t done too shabby, either. As you’d guess, Treyarch isn’t done delivering new content to Black Ops 2, and a promotional poster has been spotted that details what we can expect from the third chunk of DLC.
The poster cannot be confirmed as real at this time, but everything about it matches what we’ve seen in the past. The setup and look of the maps is analogous to what we’ve witnessed from Uprising and Revolution, and really, “Vengeance” just sounds right for Call of Duty DLC. Four competitive multiplayer maps are shown, including Cove, Rush, Detour, and Uplink, with Buried standing as the new Zombies location. The Ray Gun Mark II is also prominently displayed as a toy with the power to spice up the cooperative mode. Finally, a zombie with a cowboy hat is featured in the middle image. This means that we’ll either be seeing a Western theme in the new map, or this single zombie just has a great fashion sense.
If you’re interested in the full breakdown, the YouTube user in the video above goes through just about everything you’d ever need to know. The projected release date he’s found is July 2, but we really won’t know until we get something official from Activision. Until then, take a look at these weapon skins hidden in the game’s code.
