With the Battlefield 4 Alpha underway, there's bound to be plenty of leaks, signing an NDA isn't going to deter gamers to share their experience with the internet. The first bit of leaked screens show the new and improved Battlelog with an overhauled interface and a host of customization options for the weapons/soldiers.
Amongst the changes mentioned above, the screens reveal,
- Three types of grenade [M67 Grenade, M84 Flashbang & M34 Incendiary]
- More than one silencer type for weapons.
- Assault Class getting two different kinds of med packs.
- Graphical representation of weapon stats & damage details.
This could still be a work in progress of the new Battlelog because the weapon images seem like placeholders, but the the new UI is a welcome change which was teased in April by the official @Battlelog twitter account.
The Alpha that kicked off yesterday randomly chose participants via Origin and was exclusive to PC gamers. Battlefield 4 must've popped up on your Origin account if you were one of the lucky few chosen to play an alpha version of "Siege of Shanghai" with less detailed textures and effects inorder to only stress test its multiplayer servers in preparation for the beta. There will be no more future alpha invites so if you haven't already received an invite don't hold your breath.
