Cliff Bleszinski, better known as "CliffyB", has been a vocal opponent of used games. Now that he's no longer kept on a leash and muzzled by Epic Games, the Gears of War creator has taken to Twitter to express his views on the subject, all of which have been anything but consumer-friendly.
Today, he stated that big budget titles like Gears cannot coexist in a world where used games are a thing. Read on:
You cannot have game and marketing budgets this high while also having used and rental games existing. The numbers do NOT work people.
