Sonic Lost World Trailer Shows 3DS in Action

June 12, 2013 by Andrea Castellano

Sonic Lost World 3DS gameplay trailer.

Without the traditional E3 press conference from Nintendo, you will need to search YouTube for the newest trailers instead.

This Sonic Lost World gameplay follows last month's announcement of Nintendo and Sega partnering to develop a few Sonic games. Sonic Lost World will launch on both the 3DS and Wii U as one of the three titles to come from this new partnership.

This trailer shows off some 3DS gameplay footage and some of Sonic's new moves. Not only can he run fast, Sonic can bounce off a number of springs into a wall run. But Sonic Lost World won't launch identically on both platforms, the 3DS version of Sonic Lost World will provide some exclusive levels. With the 3DS' 3D effect, expect some levels to utilize depth both on a 2D plane and while running in 3D. With both versions, you can swap gadgets between the 3DS and Wii U title that Sonic can use to destroy certain obstacles.

Sonic Lost World will launch on Wii U and 3DS later this year.
