Not far into the start of its press conference on Monday, Ubisoft showed off a new trailer for Rayman Legends, this one in CGI so that you can really see Barbara's breasts wobble around as she – fair enough – fights her way through frog-like enemies to rescue Rayman:
Of course, all this trailer really does is remind us that the game still isn't out. After all, we saw Rayman Legends at E3 last year, and it was supposed to be a launch title for the Wii U, which came out at the end of last year. As you probably know, however, Ubisoft delayed the launch of the game so as to bring it to other platforms as well, presumably because the Wii U hasn't sold nearly as well as the company had hoped, as I mentioned when covering the game for Family Gamer TV:
Since the game was pushed back – we now know until August 30 in Europe and September 3 in North America – Ubisoft has tried to keep fans satisfied with a gentle stream of updates. Wii U owners got a demo and then a Challenges App, and we also got the promise of 30 new levels. But since that news, all Ubisoft has been able to do to remind fans of the game's existence is release more trailers like that musical “Mariachi Madness” one or the one that takes place underwater.
Are you glad to see these continual trailers? Or do you just wish that Ubisoft would keep quiet until actually ready to release the game?
