L.A. Noire Said to Take 25-30 Hours to Complete

March 14, 2011

Rockstar’s upcoming game is said to take roughly the same amount of time to complete as GTA IV and RDR.

The upcoming "L.A. Noire" may be the first game to properly bring the genre of film noir to the videogame medium. Like Rockstar's other titles, the story is said to take 25 to 30 hours to complete.

The game is said to have 23 self-contained assigned cases that the player takes on, which fit into an overarching plot. On top of the main stories, the game will also feature "unassigned cases" that the player can take on, which provide a background narrative for the game's secondary characters and build parts of the world that the player might not otherwise experience in the main storyline.

Developed by Team Bondi and published by Rockstar, "L.A. Noire" is set for a May 17th release.
