During the brief Nintendo Direct used to replace the lack of a Nintendo E3 press conference, Platinum finally debuted some gameplay for the hack and slash title, Bayonetta 2.
Surprisingly, the gameplay trailer did not mention the inclusion of a 2-player mode. The announcement came during Nintendo's E3 presentation and no further details are available to explain what the second mode will involve.
To ease the pain of the wait for the release Bayonetta 2, take a look at the screenshots below. As you will immediately notice, Bayonetta visited a hair salon in between games, opting for shorter hair. Considering the high heels and revealing outfit, I would bet that she chose the hair change in favour of appearance rather than practicality.
To point out some other notable changes, her guns, including the guns strapped to the Achilles of her feet, now come in blue rather than the purple of the first game.
Nintendo originally slated Bayonetta 2 for a fall 2013 release, but the latest gameplay trailer now indicates a 2014 launch exclusively for the Wii U.
