Nintendo Announces Super Mario 3D World

The new 3D Mario title, Super Mario 3D World, will release on the Wii U and feature a 4 player multiplayer mode. For different game sessions, players can either play cooperatively or competitively.

Each of the 4 characters will have different abilities such as Peach's ability to hover after a jump.  

The newest power-up in the Mario series is Cat Mario. Cat Mario can climb walls, scratch enemies and even meow.

Super Mario 3D World will launch this December.
