A series of images of the upcoming next installment in the Assassin's Creed series, Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, have been released with artwork depticting the game's single player and renders showing off some of the characters and environments in the multiplayer.
You can see all of the images below which show us a variety of gameplay settings such as ruins and jungles, we also see what at least some of the multiplayer characters will look like.
Black Flag is set to be released on October 31st for PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U. The PC release of Assassin's Creed titles is usually held back for a few weeks and the launch date of the game on PS4 and Xbox One is not yet confirmed. The game is being developed by multiple Ubisoft studios worldwide, as has become standard practise with the mage franchise.
You can pick up some Black Flag wallpapers here, if you're so inclined; you can also watch the game's trailer. We'll likely see more of the game at Ubisoft's E3 press conference today.
