As we get closer to E3, more and more details regarding Microsoft's Xbox 360 successor is starting to come to light. In addition to finally finding out what the console will and will not do, there's the games of course. Like what we'll actually be playing on the thing (aside from watching some live action Halo TV show, or football, naturally).
And it has just been revealed that LocoCycle will be one of its launch titles. Now, those with fairly respectable memories might already recall LocoCycle being the latest game from Twisted Pixel, responsible for The Maw, Splosion Man, and Ms. Splosion Man. One that has been in the works for some time now, for the Xbox 360.
That and how you play a super intelligent and runaway motorbike. Well, now it's headed to the Xbox One. And not only will LocoCycle be at E3, but also playable as well. The game has become a staple at trade show over the past year, but in a solely unplayable fashion.
As for those who have been patiently waiting for the 360 version, and will not being the One anytime soon (for perhaps obvious reasons), Twisted Pixel's press release on the matter states:
"For those desperate souls who want to play LocoCycle but won't immediately have an Xbox One, fear not! An Xbox 360 version of the game is also under development, to be released on a future date not yet determined."
The release date has long been a nebulous “fourth quarter of 2013” but at least we know that it’ll be available when the Xbox One hits the streets. Whenever that might be, presumably sometime during… the fourth quarter of 2013.
