Garrett the Master Thief trailer has been released today by Square Enix for Thief 4, their latest installment in the acclaimed series which is headed to PC and next-gen consoles.
Unfortunately, it's not actual gameplay but Garrett narrates the trailer commenting "Stealing is my way of life. It sets me free in the night. Every rivet and stitch, lets me find what I most desire.
"The cloth that hides me, the tools that arm me, all lead to that priceless moment. You may think you caught me but think again because when I want something, I always get it. I am Garrett, did you miss me?"
The trailer finishes with the tagline "what's yours is mine." We see a number of jewels being stolen in the trailer and what you'd expect from a thief in the form of lockpicks and a cowl obscruing his face. Thief 4 is set to be released next year.
Eidos has explained who they're working with shadows and stealth on next-gen systems as well as the advanced AI they're developing for the game suggesting it will very much be a traditional Thief game brought to a whole new level.
You can see the game's announcement trailer here although there's not too much information contained therein.
