Deus Ex: The Fall, the first mobile entry in the series, is set to last six hours and will come with a series of in-app purchases on iOS devices a new E3 trailer released by Square Enix has revealed.
The Fall was announced earlier this week following a series of teasers. It's set in 2027 and follows the story of mercenary Ben Saxon who has to unravel a conspiracy surrounding human augmentation that could kill every augmented person on the planet.
The game's producer, James Wright, explained the decision to go mobile to Eurogamer saying "Primarily the reason was that we really wanted to expaned the Deus Ex universe, and have the experience not just for the core gamers, but to let other types of gamers have that experience as well.
"It is a true Deus Ex experience," Wright added, "it does contain action, stealth, hacking, social interaction, choice in gameplay and consequence. It's a game very much that our fanbase and our core gamers will still enjoy, despite the platforms."
So far, Apple's iOS devices are the only platform announced for the game so it seems Android and Windows Phone owners will be left out.
