This summer PlayStation Vita owners can build and place as many towers as they like when Fieldrunners 2 releases on Vita this summer.
Fielderunners 2 originally launched on the PSP back in 2009. To build upon that original release, the sequel will start with a brand new game engine that allows each enemy to manoeuvre their way around obstacles and towers on the battlefield.
Using upwards of 25 different towers, players should aim to redirect enemies to choke points where they will face an onslaught of flam throwing Jack O' Lanterns and a Gatling Guns to pick off any stragglers.
Subatomic Games released Fieldrunner 2 on Android, iPhone and iPod Touch devices alongside a Steam version.
If you prefer to play on the PlayStation Vita and absolutely can't until E3 for potential Vita announcements, Amazon will include a $50 Amazon credit with your purchase of a PlayStation Vita Wifi bundle.
Subatomic Games reached the ending stages of development of Fieldrunners 2 on Vita, and until Subatomic Games decides on an official release date, fans will need to wait to find out more about the new features added to the Vita version.
