Murdered: Soul Suspect is headed to PS3, Xbox 360 and PC Square Enix has today announced and they have also issued the game's first trailer.
The new IP is an action adventure title with a supernatural private detective tasked with solving his own murder. The deceased sleuth, Ronan O'Connor, will be able to influence the thoughts and actions of the living and read their minds from Dusk, the game's limbo world.
O'Connor tells us that "I've done a lot of things I wasn't supposed to do" and that until the confrontation that ended his life he'd never lost a fight. Understandably, he's somewhat taken aback by finding himself no longer among the living. We see bullet holes rip through O'Connor's ghostly body as his killer shoots his corpse but they seem to have no affect on him.
The trailer ends with the tagline "The hunt for your killer begins."
It's not yet known who is developing the game only that Square Enix are publishing it. More information on Murdered is set to be revealed next week at E3 but in the meantime you can watch the trailer below.
