People love to customize things. Whether it’s character appearance, statistics meant to change the flow of combat, or the weapons being held, the player wants the ability to make something personalized. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 developer Treyarch understands that fact, and that’s why it made eight personalized weapon skin packs available in March. Active players ate the increased options up, and there’s a fan vote going on right now to add two more purchasable packs to the Xbox 360 on May 29.
That seems like plenty of armament camo to go around, but Youtube user TheJaRniBoin has decided to make things even more interesting. The sleuth has been digging though the game’s detailed code, and yes, he’s discovered even more weapon skins that have not been officially shown at this time. Why? The game features were never intended to be released, and instead found themselves hidden deep within the title’s files. Here’s a list of everything the man has discovered:
· Blue Tiger’ Camo
· ‘Zombies PAP’ Camo
· ‘Ice Blue’ Camo
· ‘Dev’ Camo
· ‘Nevada’ Camo
· ‘Swamp’ Camo
You’ll probably never be able to slap these on your own weapons, but if you’re interested in at least seeing what they’re all about, videos for each of the skins can be found on TheJaRniBoin’s official YouTube channel. For everyone who’s moved on from Black Ops 2, just get excited for all the canine action that will be hitting Call of Duty: Ghosts later this year on both current and next-gen platforms.
