Naughty Dog has released the third episode of its video series on the development of The Last of Us, detailing the game's exploration and resource management aspects, in addition to its crafting and in-game choices.
The team at Naughty Dog discuss how the game's streamlined menu and crafting UI are designed to be quick and hassle-free. They are designed to not pull the player out of the immersion, putting a minimum layer between the player and the gameplay.

The game only just completed its development last week, "going gold", as it were. Exclusive to the PlayStation 3, The Last of Us will be available in stores early next month. It's set to launch worldwide on June 14.
