Blackened boss-battler Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption is crossing the threshold to Nintendo Switch, it has been announced. Formerly launching on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms, Dark Star’s vice-crushing action RPG hopes to recruit a whole new legion of fans come Q3 2018, when it will enjoy a simultaenous launch.
Apart from its more conspicuous visual resemblance to games like Dark Souls and Bloodborne, the gameplay formula in Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption might sound very familiar to anyone who’s played Shadow of the Colossus. Like Wander’s timeless tale, Sinner is structured around epic clashes with gigantic beasts, but instead of colossi, you’ll be facing the seven deadly sins in corporeal form. The story is also a journey of atonement, and to achieve this state, the protagonist Adam will actually sacrifice a part of himself for every skirmish, permanently reducing his health and strength. But what will be the price when Adam faces the eighth final boss, and there are seemingly no sins left to pardon?
Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption will cost $18.99 USD upon launch time.
