Konami has put together a trailer for its Blade Wolf DLC for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance today. The trailer showcases Blade Wolf, Raiden's canine companion, as he tears shit up in holo-missions which take place prior to the events of the game proper.
“Reactivated by Desperado Enforcement’s leader Sundowner and serving under Mistral, the DLC reveals LQ-84i’s story prior to his battle and eventual partnership with Raiden, and his transformation into Blade Wolf,” says the official story summary. “Players can battle countless enemies using an arsenal of weapons and abilities, culminating in an all-new boss battle.” See the trailer for yourself.
The trailer is entirely in Japanese, and there's no release date for the Blade Wolf DLC's trailer internationally, but we can rest assured that it'll be out next week in time for the DLC's release in English on the 14th.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is currently available on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
