Sony has detailed the Special Edition content of the Quantic Dream's upcoming Beyond: Two Souls and revealed that it will include an additional 30 minutes of gameplay.
The Special Edition is only available as a pre-order and comes with:
- Exclusive steelbook packaging.
- Additional playable scene (30 mins gameplay).
- Behind the scenes videos.
- The game's soundtrack.
- A PS3 Dynamic Theme.
- A PSN avatar bundle.
Sony has promised to detail more about the additional scene in the near future.
Beyond: Two Souls is Quantic Dream's second PS3 game following 2010's Heavy Rain and focuses on the character of Jodie who is played by Ellen Page. Jodie has access to supernatural abilities due to a link to a paranormal entity she calls Aiden. In the game Jodie will attempt suicide and deliver a baby while teaming up with government scientist Nathan Dawkins (Willem Dafoe) to escape from the CIA agents pursuing her.
The game is set to be released exclusively on PS3 on October 8th. 35 minutes of gameplay was recently shown at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.
