Earlier this month, an entry on Taiwan’s Game Software Ratings Regulation website indicated Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice may soon be playable on Xbox One. Today we can confirm that Ninja Theory’s (Kung Fu Chaos, Heavenly Sword, Devil May Cry) sombre action adventure is definitely making the trip to both Xbox One and Xbox One X. Windows Central pointed out the Microsoft Store entry has listed April 11 as the game’s release date, which Ninja Theory has certified in a subsequent Twitter announcement.
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is a Norse mythology inspired title that was originally revealed during Q3 2014. It eventually released simultaneously on PC and PlayStation 4 three years later, leaving Xbox players out of the loop until now. In a fortnight from now, you’ll be able to plunge into the haunting hellscapes of Senua’s mind on either Xbox One or Xbox One X with 4K Ultra HD. Ninja Theory designed Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice as a means of tackling the stigma associated with mental health issues.
Pre-orders will be available from Monday, March 26, or you can purchase the game for a 10% discount in the first week of release.
