There's cute, and then there's disarmingly cute. Dark Souls happens to be neither, but that doesn't mean artists inspired by the game can't create artwork that depicts each and all of the game's scarier monsters as cute beasts in pursuit of the player character.
This piece of artwork by Artist Unknown (that means we don't know who he or she is, but we'd love for them to get in touch with us so we can provide them with the proper credit) has all of the game's major characters in a single scene. The sight of Priscilla petting Sif really does it for us.
Beyond cute wallpapers, there's also this piece (via reddit) of Dark Souls pixelart that was put together in Minecraft. It's based on the pixel art work of Paul Robertson, best known for his contributions to video games like Scott Pilgrim vs the World, and the short film, Pirate Baby's Cabana Battle Street Fight. According to vk-maho, who uploaded the piece to reddit, the entire mural was built by a team of seven players, and put together over a period of two afternoons.

As some users on the site have noted, the angle of the artwork would make them suitable as enemies in Terraria. All someone would have to do is mod them into the game.
Last, but not least, is this piece of something we'd hestitate to call "concept artwork" which depicts the main character of Dark Souls 2 with a drink hat on his head. No more dying while trying to quench your thirst with a jug of estus when you can just drink from it through a straw. Brilliant.
