In yesterday's PlayStation Store update, Sony revealed a subsection of its Spring Fever Sale that focuses on specific popular franchises. The “PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Heritage Sale”, which is a bit of a mouthful, discounts PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale itself but also games from which characters have appeared in the brawler.
That means the BioShock series (though not Infinite, which is presumably too knew to get a price cut just yet), various Metal Gear games, the Sly Cooper games including the latest, the LittleBigPlanet games incuding Karting and the Vita-specific version, the Devil May Cry HD Collection, the God of War series (though again, not the latest), the three inFAMOUS games, the Twisted Metal games, and a bunch of Ratchet & Clank games.
From a quick glance, it looks like most of the games are discounted by around 30%, so you'll want to check the full list (and probably compare to other retailers) to find out if you're actually getting a bargain or not. But PlayStation Plus members get bigger discounts, bringing these games down to about half the price. Some are even free for Plus members as part of the Instant Games Collection: LittleBigPlanet 2, inFAMOUS 2, and Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One.
Further good news comes from the fact that Cross Buy applies in this sale, which means that even though you're getting these games at a discounted price, for those that are available on both PS3 and Vita you'll get both copies for the price of one.
Do any bargains catch your eye?
