The Xbox 360 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 was expanded earlier this month with the release of the Uprising DLC. The DLC adds four new maps and one zombies map called Mob of the Dead. Priced at $14.99, the DLC was released on April 16.
Other versions of the game on the PC and PlayStation 3 will soon be getting the same treatment with the release of the map pack on May 16, Activision announced today.
The three new maps being added to the regular playlists include Magma, Encore, and Vertigo, and a re-imagining of the first Firing Range from Call of Duty: Black Ops called Studio, which is set in the grounds of a film studio.
The zombies mode map titled "Mob of the Dead" sees players taking on the roles of famous movie mobsters including Ray Liotta, Michael Madsen, Joe Pantoliano and Chazz Palminteri, as they attempt to break out of the island of Alcatraz, which has been overrun by zombies.
Like the Xbox 360 version of the map pack, Uprising for the PC and Xbox 360 will cost $14.99 and require ownership of Black Ops 2. It is also available as a part of the game's so-called DLC Season Pass.
At present, there are no plans to bring the map pack to the Wii U.
