The third and final chapter of Assassin's Creed 3's DLC driven "what if" scenario arrives today. And here's a trailer:
For those who haven't been keeping track, The Tyranny of King Washington asks the question: what if George Washington, after winning the Revolutionary War, went mad with power and declared himself a king?
Though, in typical Assassin's Creed fashion, the primary impetus for such corruption is due primarily to the Apple of Eden, one of the primary ad long-standing macguffins in the franchise.
Aside from the wacky set-up, the DLC has also introduced several new abilities for abilities. Thus far we have seen the Power of the Wold, which grants Ratonhnhaké:ton the power of invisibility, allowing for particularity stealthy kills, along with the Power of the Eagle, which increases Ratonhnhaké:ton's agility, and even grants him the power of flight.
The third chapter will grant yet another brand new trick up Connor Kenway's sleeves: the Power of the Bear, which will provide plenty of raw strength and power, to tear evil King Washington's minions to bits, and also evil King Washington.
Who, according to the trailer, has become so crazy that he’s forced his subjects to create a pyramid as tribute. Which provides the perfect setting for the long awaited showdown between Ratonhnhaké:ton and the evil version of our nation's founding father.
Though before that, there appears to be even more naval battles, something everyone loved in core game, and which there will be plenty of in the upcoming Assassin’s Creed 4.
Assassin’s Creed 3: The Tyranny of King Washington, Episode 3 arrive today on the Xbox 360 and PC. Sorry PS3 owners, you’ll have to wait till tomorrow.
