The first English-language book about Minecraft developer Notch will be published in November, according to a press release.
The nonfiction book about the Markus Persson success story–called Minecraft; The Unlikely Tale of Markus "Notch" Persson and the Game that Changed Everything–was originally written by Swedish journalists Linus Larsson and Daniel Goldberg. The version that will be available in English was translated by Jennifer Hawkins.
The book details Persson's rise to fame from a terrible childhood, to his programming career, and finally to his successful game which made him into one of the top developers in the world.
The film rights to the book have already been sold and production is set to begin later this year.
This is the most recent news from the block-building game. It was also recently announced that developers are tinkering with seasons and dev cycles, expanding the already packed universe.
Preorders are now being taken through the Seven Stories Press website. The official release date is November 5.
