Skyrim, the mega-popular role-playing game released in November of 2011, just won't seem to go away. This certainly is not a bad thing, however. Even after a year and a half, the game's community is still extremely active. While much of that community is located on the PC end of things, there are many players still active on consoles.
In any case, the PC community has released yet another interesting tidbit in the long line of Skyrim media, which comes in the form of every piece of dialogue in the world of Skyrim. This comes as no small feat, and the file size is almost 4 MB. This doesn't sound like a lot right off the bat, but considering it's simply a load of raw text, you realize just how much work went into preparing this document.
The creator notes that the information could be used for modding, lore or anything in between. This all sounds well and good, but be warned: the information is completely unformatted. While some areas of the game's events will be found in certain areas and should follow the text chronologically, you should still expect some hardship in finding specific information.
This serves to show just how dedicated Bethesda's following is. While many games – especially RPGs, for their usual lack of multiplayer functionality – would have fizzled out by now, the realm of Skyrim just chugs on and on. Given that the game is still so prevalent now, it's easy to say that the game could maintain a strong player base up until Bethesda decides to craft another Elder Scrolls title.
