New Invizimals Announced for PS3 and PS Vita

April 12, 2013 by Stephen Daly

It will be the series debut on both platforms.

Sony have today announced two new entries in the Invizimals series with Invizimals: The Lost Kingdom PlayStation 3 bound while PS Vita owners can look forward to  Invizimals: The Alliance.

This will be the first time the series has landed on PS3 as well as the series debut on PS Vita. A trilogy of Invizimals titles have already been released for PSP.

While the series traditionally focuses on augmented reality fighting monsters The Lost Kingdom seems to be a more adventure orientated game than those in the past with platformer and puzzle elements. Regardless, the two games will be able to interact in order to train and battle the Invizimals you capture.

The Alliance meanwhile appears to utilise the PS Vita's AG cards which were supplied with the system and seems more in keeping with what's come before. You can see the combined trailer for the two titles below.
