Sony has announced the seventh of the deals it has offered as part of its “PlayStation Store Egg Hunt”, the Easter-themed sale for the EU PSN that started on March 27. Each offer lasted for 48 hours, and this one is no different. Until 11:59am on April 10, you can get a digital copy of Doom 3 for €17.99 (or £13.99), where before it apparently would have cost you a whopping €39.99 (or £29.99). For comparison, you can get a physical copy of Doom 3 – BFG Edition for PS3 for around £15 on some online stores. For Xbox 360 it's even cheaper.
This may well be the last offer of the “Egg Hunt”, as the “Spring Sale” that Sony said was to run alongside it will end tomorrow (April 9). If you want to take advantage of the discounts in that sale, then head over to the PlayStation Store before then. You can get Child of Eden for only €4.99 (or £3.99), or maybe Driver: San Francisco for €7.49 (or £5.99), or Rayman 3 for €4.99 (or £3.19). While not every game on the list is worth a purchase, it might be a good idea to have a look at everything that's on offer, because a lot of the discounts bring titles down to less than a fiver.
So far, the “PlayStation Store Egg Hunt” has discounted Killzone and Infamous, Tomb Raider, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, Spec Ops and Duke Nukem Forever, Assassin's Creed 3, From Dust and I Am Alive, and Doom 3. Is there anything you wish had been added to that list?
