Insomniac Games continues its series of infographics that provide details on the four playable characters in upcoming game Fuse with one on Jacob Kimble, the ex-cop who – as we saw in his character trailer – seems to have his own ideas of morality. This is echoed in the heat map at the top of his infographic, which shows how many criminals he's arrested and how many – a relatively large amount – he's “dealt with”.

Aside from “dealing with” criminals, Jacob's interests seem to lie in fashion; we get a picture of his boots, with some accompanying “stats”: +6 Mobility, -2 Stealth, and +57 Style. His primary skills are in strategy, long range assassinations, and trap setting. It'll be interesting to see what kinds of traps he can set in the game, and whether his “strategy” skill will translate to any unique ability if you choose him as your character.
The main focus is on his Fuse weapon: the Arcshot. Jacob's seems the most “normal”. You hold onto the “reinforced rubber grip for sticky situations”, aim through the sight, and shoot. The bolts are tipped with mercury, and Fuse is applied to them for devastating effect; as the description says, “the reaction heats the projectile to 1300 Kelvin”. Apparently, the Arcshot is useful when Dalton has a magshield up, as Jacob can use that as cover and snipe enemies in safety. Insomniac clearly wants us to consider playing this game co-op.
So, will any of you choose Jacob if you happen to pick up this game? It launches on PS3 and 360 in Spring this year.
