Prey 2 has been in production limbo for months, with rumors circulating that it was even cancelled. Regardless of the true status of the game, it didn't bode well for fans, as Bethesda did not seem keen on continuing development.
However, there seems to be some great news on the horizon. A screenshot of what looks to be Prey 2 has appeared online. This, along with a website that is slowly revealing details, and counting down until what is possibly a big announcement, bring more attention to the game.
It's best not to take the screenshot completely seriously, as it seems to be a still from a video and it has not been confirmed by the studio. We are allowed to be excited though.
The website also recently revealed a Bethesda label, showing that it is backed by the studio.
There is no word yet on a release date or pricing details, or anything else really besides a website and a screenshot, but we're hoping to see more in the next few days.
