The fun of PlayStation All-Stars is not the game itself, but rather the characters you can play as, and the ones you can fight. Nowhere in history has a game allowed you to fight as a Big Daddy against Kratos… I think.
The limited amount of characters in the main release was a bit of a letdown, but the frequent DLC has made up for it, and today there is a new one that you can be excited about.
IGN spoke with Sony's Seth Killian today, where he revealed that Dead Space's Isaac Clarke and God of War's Zeus will be joining the roster in the next round of DLC for All-Stars.
Killian also announced that a new stage built on elements from Unfinished Swan and MediEvil will also be available as DLC.
Below you can watch the video, where Killian details what makes these new characters so unique as fighters.
Isaac is a mid-range character similar to Nathan Drake with use of his plasma cutter, and with the ability to reflect attacks. Zeus is more of a tank similar to the Big Daddy.
The stage is also very interesting, featuring very interactive set pieces including a gargoyle that has unique dialogue with every player.
No pricing details are currently available, but the DLC will be available on March 19.
